Tourism Minister Bhattarai to inaugurate VNY 2020 in Australia

KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Bhattarai is inaugurating an inaugural program of Visit Nepal Year 2020 in Sydney, Australia on January 7.

He has already left here for Australia for the same.

The program will be organized in Sydney on January 7, according to Spokesperson at the Ministry, Rudra Singh Tamang.

The VNY 2020 would be inaugurated at all Nepali embassies in foreign countries.

Meanwhile, the Non-Resident Nepali Associations (NRNA) would also inaugurate it in their respective countries.

Minister Bhattarai, Nepali Ambassador to Australia, Mahesh Raj Dahal, and Australian citizen, Chris Walker, who visited Nepal for 58th time, are scheduled to address the inaugural program.

Australia’s travel agencies have already issued packages of Visit Nepal at the initiative of the Nepali Embassy.

Tourism Minister Bhattarai will also hold a discussion on the issue of air service operation between Nepal and Australia during his stay there.
