NCP defers central committee meeting



KATHMANDU: A Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) held at the prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Sunday morning fixed a new date for the central committee meeting.

The Secretariat meeting decided to hold the central committee on January 29.

The central committee that was slated to be held on Wednesday was shifted owing to the National Assembly (NA) elections slated for January 23.
