Puri Shankaracharya appeals UN to declare Nepal, India, Bhutan as Hindu Rashtra



NEW DELHI: Shankaracharya of Gobardhan Peeth, Puri, Swami Nischalananda Saraswati said that Nepal, India, and Bhutan should be declared as Hindu Rashtra.

Talking to media, the Puri seer asserted that out of the total of 204 nations in the world, many have been declared as Muslim and Christian countries. Though a large number of Hindus stay in these countries, there is no specific Hindu country.

The United Nations should take note of this and declare India, Nepal, and Bhutan as Hindu nations and take necessary steps for the rehabilitation of Hindus who have been tortured and persecuted in other countries.

Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati added The present violence and unrest could have been avoided if adequate steps were taken for proper consultations, discussions and intense deliberation before the implementation of the CAA.”
