KATHMANDU: A Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is underway at the prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Sunday morning.

The meeting is discussing the selection of a new Speaker and other contemporary issues.

The Secretariat meeting is also mulling to shift the central committee meeting of the party slated for Wednesday owing to the National Assembly elections to be held on January 23.
