Weather to gradually improve from today

KATHMANDU: Meteorologists have said that the weather will gradually improve throughout the country from Sunday.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) stated that the impact of the westerly wind is diminishing and the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions and mainly fair in the rest of the country.

Kathmandu and other parts of the country will witness sunshine from the afternoon, the met office said.

A new weather system is developing and its impact will be seen from Tuesday, according to meteorologist Pratibha Manandhar.

Kathmandu Valley recorded a minimum temperature of 4.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

Life has been hit hard across the country due to rainfall and snowfall owing to the impact of the westerly wind.
