Hilly areas to receive scanty rain



KATHMANDU: There is a possibility of a scanty rain today in some hilly areas across the country with partial to general weather change.

It is caused by low pressure system generated from east of Uttar Pradesh and surrounding area of Bihar in India, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Some hilly areas of Province-1 and Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces may see rain in the afternoon, said meteorologist Bibhuti Pokharel, adding, other areas in the country would however have a clear weather.

The Kathmandu Valley has witnessed minimum 7.2 and maximum 20.6 degree Celsius temperature.

Likewise, Jumla has recorded a minimum minus 2.6 degree Celsius, the lowest across the country and Dharan the highest minimum of 15.4 degree Celsius.
