COVID-19 infected octogenarian dies at  Bharatpur Hospital

CHITWAN:  An octogenarian has died in the course of treatment at Bharatpur Hospital in Chitwan district.

An 82-year-old man of Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City-6 succumbed to the virus in the course of treatment on Thursday morning, said Liladhar Paudel, the information officer of the hospital.

The elderly who tested positive for COVID-19 on October 31 was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday after he complained of fever, dry cough and respiratory complications.

He breathed his last while being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital this morning, said Paudel.
