Chitwan records another COVID-19 death



CHITWAN: A coronavirus infected man under home isolation succumbed to the pandemic on Monday.

A 70-year-old man from Bharatpur Metropolis-3 died after admitted to the ICU at Bharatpur Hospital, according to the hospital’s Information Officer Liladhar Poudel.

The man was diagnosed with the infection four days and had been suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure for a long time.

He was rushed to the hospital with fever, cough, and respiratory problems.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the coronavirus in Chitwan has reached 44. Of them, 24 are from Chitwan.

The other fatalities were infected people living outside Chitwan but admitted to various hospitals in Bharatpur for treatment.
