RPP Chair Rana demands to make public PM’s health condition



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Pashupati Shumsher Rana has demanded the government to update Prime Minister KP Oli’s health status formally.

Citing the national and international practices of updating the public about the health status the head of the government and other dignitaries, RPP Chair Rana tweeted that the government should make it clear if PM Oli has to
join isolation.

“PM’s health is the issue of public concern,” Rana tweeted on Monday.

He has mentioned that it would be better if the government would follow the international practice and update the status of PM when his close aides and advisors have tested coronavirus positive lately.

Last week, most of the advisors and many security personnel at PM’s secretariat had tested coronavirus positive, yet PM’s COVID-19 report of Thursday’s swab was said to be negative.
