Issuance of foreign employment permit resumes from today

KATHMANDU: The issuance of foreign employment permit that was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic has resumed.

The issuance of permits from the Foreign Employment Office, Tahachal, has started from Monday.

The service had been suspended since last Wednesday after an employee was diagnosed coronavirus positive.

The office said it started to provide limited services keeping in mind the problem of the service recipients who are at risk of losing their jobs due to the expiration of their permit.
