Chitwan records 19 fresh COVID-19 cases

CHITWAN:  Nineteen additional coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Chitwan district.

The new cases were confirmed during PCR tests conducted at the laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital. All the newly infected are from Chitwan.

According to a press note issued by Bharatpur Hospital on Sunday evening, the infected are three males and five females aged 20 to 58 from from Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

Similarly, a 27-year-old man from Rapti municipality-6, one female and one male from Kharahani municipality have been infected with the COVID-19, informed  Dr Nitu Adhikari, chief of COVID-19 laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital.

Likewise, those newly infected include five males and three females from Ratnanagar municipality, according to Adhikari.
