COVID-19 cases in Sudurpaschim cross 6,000-mark

DHANGADHI: Sudurpaschim Province witnessed 45 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, out of the 679 swabs tested in three different labs in the province, 45 were found to be coronavirus positive.

Dilip Kumar Shrestha, the information official at Seti Provincial Hospital, informed that 20 males and seven females tested positive in the test carried out in the lab of Provincial Hospital. The lab had carried out tests of 463 people.

Similarly, coronavirus test laboratory established in Dadeldhura Hospital got 16 coronavirus positive cases in the last 24 hours. The lab had carried out tests of 110 people.

Another lab of Sudur Paschim Province established in Doti Hospital found two new cases of the pandemic.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases in Sudurpaschim Province has crossed 6 thousand now.
