Minister Basanta Nembang tests negative for COVID-19



KATHMANDU: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Basanta Nembang has tested negative for COVID-19.

Similarly, all the members of his secretariat also test negative for the pandemic virus.

Minister Nembang was in home quarantine after a high-ranking official at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure was diagnosed with the coronavirus.

He did not even attend cabinet meeting held on Friday as he was in quarantine. Last Wednesday, the ministry officials were confirmed infected with the coronavirus.
