Prohibitory orders in 14 districts



KATHMANDU: Prohibitory orders, including partial, have been enforced in as many as 14 districts across the country, the Ministry of Home Affairs has said.

However, in some districts prohibitory orders have been imposed only in specific areas that have seen a rise in the coronavirus cases.

Prohibitory orders have been imposed throughout the districts such as Bara, Saptari, Parsa, Banke, Sarlahi and Syangja.

However, in Dhanusha district, the prohibitory order has been enforced in Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City and Kshiriswornath Municipality.

Similarly, prohibitory orders have been imposed in Bohorebhanjyang in the east, New Chautara in the west, Bageswori Bhanjyang in the north and Pokharidanda in the south.

In Morang, prohibitory orders have been imposed in Biratnagar Metropolitan City, while the same has been enforced in Mahottari district’s Jaleswor Municipality and Mohattari Rural Municipality.

Likewise, prohibitory orders have been enforced in Birtamod Municipality and Arjundhara Municipality of Jhapa district.

Similarly, prohibitory orders have been imposed in Barahakshetra Municipality of Sunsari district, Thalara Rural Municipality and Kedrasiu Rural Municipality in Bajhang district.
