COVID-19 takes 2 more lives in Parsa



BIRGUNJ: Coronavirus pandemic has claimed two more lives in last 24 hours in Parsa.

According to Dr. Madan Upadhyaya, the Medical Superintendent of Narayani Hospital, a male, 46, from Birgunj-15 Bhiswa died of coronaviurs on Wednesday morning making the COVID-19 death toll in the district to 14.

The male was undergoing treatment against coronavirus in Birgunj Health Care Temporary Hospital.

Similarly, the PCR report of the 18-year-old female of Pokhariya -9 who had died on August 3 has also come out coronavirus positive.

The 46-year-old male was a diabetic who was transferred to the temporary COVID-19 hospital after he tested positive for coronavirus on August 3.

Four more people undergoing regular dialysis for their kidneys are also undergoing treatment at the Birgunj Helath Care’s ICU.
