COVID-19 kills 703, 33, infects 18,690,366 across world



KATHMANDU: The death toll from coronavirus has reached 703, 331 across the world after 6, 248 died in a single day.

More than 18,690,366 people have been infected with coronavirus pandemic globally until this news was composed this morning.

Currently, 6,079,726 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world, of which 65,436 are critical. Meanwhile, 1, 1907,309 have returned home after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the United States of America has been the worst hit by the pandemic.  As many as 4,918,064 people have been infected with the virus while 160,272 have died.

A total of 1,344 died in the last 24 hours. Currently, 2,276,710 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 18,407 are critical.

India has reported 51,282 coronavirus infection cases in a single day, taking the number of cases to 1906,613 in the country.

Of them, 849 died in the past 24 hours. With this, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in the country has reached 39, 820.

Meanwhile, 1,281,660 have returned home after treatment.

Currently, 585,133 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals, of which the condition of 8,944 is said to be critical.
