JANAKPUR: Police have arrested 20 people, including an Aghori Baba, on charges of murder of a 10-year-old minor in Janakpurdham, Dhanusha.
According to DSP Rameshwor Karki of District Police Office Dhanusha, police had arrested an Aghori Baba and another person in the child’s murder allegation on Friday.
In addition to the sage of Kurtha Ghat, police arrested 18 more people on Sunday.
Police claimed that a blanket was also found in the locality and added that the postmortem report could further shed light whether the child was raped or not.
DSP Karki, the spokesperson of District Police Office Dhanusha informed that the police have intensified the investigation.
The minor, who had gone to look after the buffaloes on Wednesday, was found dead on Saturday morning.
Her dead body was found in the local Dudhmati river.
