NEB not to conduct Grade 11 exams

KATHMANDU: The government said it would not conduct the final examinations of Grade 11 this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It said that the examinations cannot be taken as the schools have remained closed and that students need to maintain physical distancing in order to avoid the risk of the spread of coronavirus.

It should be noted that the National Examination Board (NEB) has already instructed the schools to evaluate the students’ performances based on internal assessments, and forward the grades to the board for certification for the Grade 10 (Secondary Education Examination).

The NEB, however, is yet to decide about the Grade 12 examinations.
