Three nabbed with 198 kg marijuana in Makwanpur



HETAUDA: Three persons have been arrested with marijuana in Makwanpur.

District Police Office, Makwanpur has arrested three persons with 198 kg of illegal marijuana in two separate incidents.

Police recovered 128 kg marijuana in an oil storage chamber of the fuel tanker at Ratomate check post of Hetauda Sub-Metropolis-15 under Hetauda-Birgunj road section. The tanker, Na 6 Kha 6974, was heading to Birgunj from Chitwan.

Emamul Haque Dewan, 27, and Moharban Ansari, 24, of Simara Sub-Metropolis-23 were arrested along with the tanker.

Similarly, police arrested Shiva Tamang, 35, of Rapti Municipality-11 of Chitwan with 70 kg of marijuana in Makwanpur.
