26 Nepalis from Myanmar arrive at TIA

KATHMANDU: As many as 26 Nepalis from Myanmar have landed in Kathmandu on Friday.

General Manager at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Devendra KC said 26 Nepalis stranded in Myanmar arrived in Kathmandu this morning.

The government of Nepal has started repatriating its citizens stranded in different countries due to coronavirus pandemic from today.

Myanmar Military Airlines carrying 26 Nepalis from Myanmar landed at the TIA.

The Myanmar government had earlier agreed to rescue the Nepalis citizens stranded in Myanmar at the request of Nepal government.

They will be taken to the Basundhara-based Holding Center from the airport. They will be sent to the quarantines after health check-up.
