19 health workers, doctors of Palpa Hospital in self-quarantine

PALPA: As many as 19 health workers of United Mission Hospital in Palpa have been kept in self-quarantine following the death of a person in the hospital.

A 45-year-old man infected with COVID-19, who was undergoing treatment in isolation at the hospital, died on June 2.

Five, out of the seven coronavirus-infected persons in Palpa have been kept in the hospital’s isolation ward. The rest two haven been kept at the Rampur-based quarantine facility.

A 50-bed isolation ward is being set up in Rampur.
