Rain to occur for 24 hours today



KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted rain for 24 hours in various parts of the country today.

With the Nisarga Cyclone arriving from the Arabian Sea and making landfall, the rain is occurring in various parts of the country due to low pressure weather system coupled with westerly winds. This rain will continue for the whole day today and tonight, said the MFD.

Similarly, the Kathmandu Valley is also witnessing rain since early today.

The rain is occurring in many parts of Pradesh 1, 2, Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki Pradesha and Pradesh 5.

It will spread to the remaining parts of the country towards the afternoon, according to MFD.
