UK reports 28, 446 deaths, 186, 599 infection cases

KATHMANDU: The death toll in the United Kingdom (UK) has reached 28, 446 after 315 died in the last 24 hours as of Monday morning.

According to Worldometer, with 4, 339 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 186, 599.

Currently, 157, 809 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical. UK has performed tests on 1,206,405 people so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 248,094 and infecting 3,562,268 people as of Monday morning.
