13 Indonesians in Nepal quarantined at undisclosed place

KATHMANDU: Government authorities have said that they have kept 13 Indonesian nationals at an undisclosed place.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said it was bound to keep the quarantined place secret after locals at three different locations objected to the decision to quarantine the Indonesian nationals at their locations.

They had arrived in Kathmandu on April 1 after attending a religious function in Saptari. At first, they were kept a mosque in Machhapokhari and then to a mosque in Imadole.

The Indonesian nationals were then kept in a resort in Godavari.

The law enforcement agency was bound to shift them to another location after locals protested.
