KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chair Pashupati Shumsher Rana has demanded the prompt action against the corruption-alleged Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel and Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal.

They have been alleged to have been key players in the irregularities related to the procurement of most essential medical supplies.

Issuing a brief message, the RPP chair has demanded transparency in the procurement process of such goods and supplies. He has asked PM Oli to take instant action against the corruption-alleged DPM Pokharel and Minister Dhakal.

“It is upsetting that the PM seems unaware about the fouls and irregularities committed by the Council of Ministers and his Secretariat,” he has said in the release.

Chairperson Rana has asked the government to act promptly to bring Nepalis stranded in many countries back home. He has urged the government to make an emergency action plan to cope with such disasters.
