Ajita Bhujel slain over financial dispute after sex: Police



HETAUDA: District Police Office, Makwanpur has made public five people arrested in connection with the murder of third gender Ajita Bhujel in Makwanpur district on Tuesday.

Ajita’s body had been found at Kyampadanda in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City on January 18.

According to SP Sushil Singh Rathaur of District Police Office, Makwanpur, Ajita, Hetauda-11, was apparently murdered over financial dispute that cropped up following sexual intercourse.

The arrested include Sushil Thapa Magar, 25, of Hetauda-4, Simon Pariyar, 18, of Hetauda-9, Elisa Pakhrin, 20, of Hetauda-11, Ashish Bal, 24, of Hetauda-4, and Buddha Lama, 21, of Hetauda-4.

Police investigation shows the driver and helper of the truck, Na 6 Kha 6527, had a sexual intercourse with Ajita after promising her Rs 7,000 at Hetauda-11.

When the dispute arose over financial issue, Ajita was ruthlessly murdered. According to the investigation, they had dumped Ajita’s body at Kyampadana.

According to police, Buddha Lama had given Ajita’s lost mobile to Ashish and Ashish had given it to his wife Alisha. Police were able to catch them once the mobile was on.

Two people involved in the incident are still at large, police said.
