APF Assistant Head Constable nabbed with Rs 35,000 kickback

KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested Assistant Head Constable Lil Bahadur Gurung of the Armed Police Force (APF), Border Outpost in Krishnanagar of Kapilvastu.

Suresh Bhushal, information officer at CIAA Butwal Office said that Gurung took Rs 35,000 kickback taken from the service recipients.

A team from CIAA, Butwal, arrested Gurung on the basis of a complaint and information that he was demanding Rs 35,000 bribe from the service recipients for facilitating the movement of household goods.
