Swar Samrat Narayan Gopal being remembered today



KATHMANDU: 30th Memorial Day of Swar Samrat Narayan Gopal (singing maestro) is being observed amidst program in the capital on Friday.

Narayan Gopal Music Trust is organizing a musical program to mark the Day with a limited number of participants due to COVID-19.

Born in 1996 BS at Kilagal in Kathmandu, popular singer Narayan Gopal had passed away on Mangsir 19 in 2047 BS.

Narayan Gopal who passed the voice test through Redio Nepal in 2020 BS, has sung over 135 songs to his credit.

Narayan Gopal’s songs ‘Ma Ta Laligurans Bhayechhu,’ ‘Aljhe Chha Kyare Pachchheuri’ ‘Lau Suna Ma Bhanchhu Mero Ram Kahani’, ‘Duita Phula Deuralima’ are still popular among music lovers.
