KATHMANDU: The weather is, currently, partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Bagmati and Province 1 and fair weather in the rest of the country.
Light rain is likely in the hilly areas of the country even though there is no significant weather system in the country, said Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
According to a weather bulletin issued by the MFD this morning, light rain is expected in one or two places of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces today.
The weather will remain party to generally cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country tonight and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.
Similarly, light rain and snowfall is likely to occur in one or two places of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces tonight.
The temperature of the Kathmandu Valley has been recorded at 7.6 degree Celsius on Friday morning and it will reach 21 degree in the afternoon, according to MFD.
