Sunsari records two more COVID-19 deaths including a minor girl

SUNSARI:  Two people infected with coronavirus have died in the course of treatment in Sunsari district.

The deceased has been identified as a nine-year-old girl of Itahari Sub Metropolitan City-6 and a 61-year-old woman of Dharan Sub Metropolitan City-1.

According to Dr Ashish Shrestha, the deputy spokesperson for BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, the minor  girl had been hospitalized on Tuesday (November 3) after being diagnosed with the virus on Monday.

The girl who was suffering from autoimmune disorder succumbs to the virus at 4 am today.

Similarly, the sexagenarian woman who tested positive for COVID-19 on October 16 was hospitalized on October 21.

She breathed her last at 3 am today after her condition deteriorated. She was suffering from high blood pressure and lung-related complications, according to the hospital.
