62-year-old man dies of COVID-19 in Biratnagar



BIRATNAGAR: A 62-year-old man undergoing treatment at COVID-19 Treatment Center of Koshi Hospital died of the coronavirus on Sunday.

The man hailing from Biratnagar Metropolitan City-9 died at around 8 in the morning, said Chief of Treatment Center Dr. Deepak Sigdel.

He was admitted to the isolation of Birat Teaching Hospital at Budhi Ganga in Morang after diagnosed positive for the pandemic virus.

The man was rushed to Koshi Hospital after his health condition deteriorated. He had tested positive for the virus on Friday.

Dr. Sigdel said that the deceased, who had chronic diabetes, had respiratory problems recently.
