Ex-DSP Khadka convicted for cybercrime



KATHMANDU: A court has convicted retired Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Nepal Police Krishna Khadka for cybercrime.

Kathmandu District Court convicted Khadka of insulting his daughter-in-law through his Facebook and imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 and a compensation of Rs 25,000.

Khadka was arrested two years ago after his daughter-in-law Samuna Khadka lodged a complaint with the police. He was released on a bail bond of Rs 100,000.
