SC Justice tests positive for COVID-19; only one bench for today



KATHMANDU: A Supreme Court Justice has tested positive for COVID-19.

The court has set only one bench for today after the Justice and some officials and staffers tested positive for coronavirus.

Information Officer at the Supreme Court Devendra Dhakal said only one bench has been fixed for today after the Justice informed the Chief Justice that he was infected with coronavirus.

The Supreme Court, however, has not made public the details of the infected Justice and staffers.

Infected Justice and staffers, and other Justice/staffers who have come in contact with them are in home quarantine and self-isolation, the Supreme Court said in a statement.

Manoj Kumar Sharma has been appointed for today bench.
