BANKE: A woman infected with the coronavirus has died while undergoing treatment at the Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur on Sunday.

A 29-year-old woman of Punarbas Municipality-2 in Kanchanpur died at 4:30 am, said Banke Chief District Officer Ram Bahadur Kurumbang quoting the hospital.

With this, deaths caused by the virus have reached 21 in the district so far.

Earlier on Saturday evening, a 60-year-old man of Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City-12 had died of the deadly virus infection in the course of treatment in Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj.

It is stated that he was a patient of diabetes and heart complications.
