Karnali Province confirms 51 fresh COVID-19 cases



SURKHET: An additional 51 persons tested positive to the coronavirus in Karnali Province.

Of them, 42 were confirmed at the Karnali Province Hospital and nine at the Dailekh hospital laboratory, according to the Social Development Ministry’s education officer Nawaraj Kandel.

Of the new additions, 12 are health workers. This takes the total number of infected to 3,780 in the state.

Also on Saturday, 45 people recovered from the deadly virus and returned home from isolation centers. The total number of recoveries so far is 3,090.
