Banke sees 40 cases of coronavirus on Friday

NEPALGUNJ: Banke district has seen 40 new cases of coronavirus on Friday.

According to Naresh Shrestha, coronavirus focal person of District Health Office Banke, there have been 37 coronavirus positive reports in Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj and three in Bageshwori Lab.

Shrestha informed that Dunduwa Rural Municipality has seen coronavirus cases again. Five persons of Dunduwa Rural Municipality have tested coronavirus positive while five more of Rastriaya Banijya Bank have got coronavirus positive reports.

Likewise, four more police of District Police office have tested coronavirus positive.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases in the district has reached 1179.

Similarly, 20 people have been discharged after recovery in Banke on Friday, making the number of discharged in the district 803.
