COVID-19 kills 68,569, infects 3,933,124 in India

KATHMANDU: More than 84,000 people have been infected with coronavirus  in the past 24 hours in India.

With 84,156 new cases, the number of infection cases in India has reached 3,933,124 until the filing of this news on Friday morning.

Currently, 831,639 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation centers in the country. Meanwhile,   as many as 3,032,916 people have recovered from the virus.

Likewise, with 1,083 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from coronavirus has reached 68,569 in India, according to latest figures collated by Worldometer.

India is the third worst-hit in terms of both deaths and infection cases after Brazil and America in the world.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus pandemic has killed 872,473 and infected 26,456,505 across the world.
