SARLAHI: A prohibitory order has been issued in Sarlahi from Wednesday morning after coronavirus cases detected at the community level.

A district-wide prohibitory order has been issued from 6 am on Wednesday to 12 midnight on July 11, according to the District Administration Office.

Pursuant to Section 6 (3) of the Local Administration Act, 2028 BS, the District Administration Office has issued a four-point order to be implemented in Sarlahi district.

The decision was taken at a joint meeting of the District Security Committee, Coronavirus Crisis Management Center and District Disaster Management Committee in view of possible prevention of coronavirus and adverse effects on public health.

People have been directed not to go out of the house except for urgent work such as medical treatment, purchase of food items and purchase of petroleum products.

Similarly, it has been directed not to take any vehicles on the road except that ambulances, ambulances, fire engines, milk and food transport vehicles and vehicles used by health workers, security personnel and media persons.
