Rangeli Bazaar sealed after 14 members of a family test positive for COVID-19

MORANG: Rangeli Bazaar has been shut down for an indefinite period after 14 members of a family tested positive for coronavirus in Morang district.

The local government has decided to shut down Rangeli Bazaar from Tuesday night until further notice curb coronavirus spread.

Aside from the 14 family members, five officials of Nepal Electricity Authority, Rangeli and three staffers of the hospital have been diagnosed with the virus.

According to a notice issued by the municipality, the area stretching from Madhuwani Chowk in the east to Chisyangkhola in the west and Nichamari Bakraha Khola in the north to Custom Office Gate in the south will remain closed.
