Prohibitory order in Saptari as coronavirus spreads to community level

SAPTARI: District Administration Office, Saptari has clamped a prohibitory order after the coronavirus spread to the community level in the district.

A meeting of the District Security Committee held on Monday took a decision to this effect in line with the Section 6 (3) of Local Administration Act 2028 and Section 2 of Infectious Disease Act, 2020.

The prohibitory order which started from 5 am today will remain effective until August 10.

Talking to Khabarhub Saptari’s Chief District Officer Shankar Hari Acharya said the injunction has been imposed across the district including district headquarters Rajbiraj starting 5 am today after 531 people were infected with the virus.

All the activities including vehicular and people’s movement except urgent ones will remain banned during the period.
