COVID-19: Condition of 36 critical, 34 at ICU, 2 on ventilator

KATHMANDU: As many as 36 out of 5,732 coronavirus patients currently undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the country are critical.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the condition of 36 infected with coronavirus who are currently receiving treatment at various hospitals in the country is critical.

Of them, two patients are being treated on ventilator while 34 are at Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The highest 21 coronavirus patients are at ICU while one is on a ventilator in Bagmati Province.

Similarly, seven are at ICU in Province 2, three are at ICU and one on ventilator in Province 1.

According to the ministry, Province 5, Karnali Province and Sudurpashchim have one coronavirus patient each undergoing treatment at ICU.
