Five more COVID-19 cases in Banke



NEPALGUNJ: Banke has witnessed five more coronavirus cases on Saturday.

According to Bheri Hospital sources, five swabs tested in Bheri Hospital’s lab in Nepalgunj came out to be coronavirus positive.

The new cases include two from Kohalpur Municipality and one each from Janaki, Raptisonari and Baijanath Rural Municipalities.

District Health Office Banke’s focal person Naresh Shrestha informed that with Saturday’s five new cases the number of coronavirus cases in Banke have reached 368.

With Saturday’s cases added, there are 28 people in isolation center now.

According to focal person Shrestha the recovery rate in Banke is at 92 percent.

Banke has got 8469 India-returnees and 205 returnees from third countries.
