Two killed as fire breaks out in Dharan

SUNSARI: Two people have died after a fire broke out in a house in Dharan Sub Metropolitan City in the district.

Police said two people died when the fire broke out in the house belonging of Nar Bahadur Shrestha based at Dharean-15, confirmed SP Kamal Thapa, chief of District Police Office, Sunsari.

He said, “Investigation is underway to determine how the fire started.  .Two people have died in the fire,” said Shrestha.

The deceased have been identified as 87-year-old Dhan Maya Shrestha and 58-year-old Sita Shrestha.

The efforts are underway to contain fire with the help of fire fighters, police and locals.
