KATHMANDU: A seven-years-old has become the youngest person to be infected with COVID-19 in Nepal.

Dr Bikash Devkota, Spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Population, said nine people, including five male and four female, aged between seven to 58 years, have been found to be infected with the virus in a Nepalgunj testing lab.

Similarly, a 36-year-old person from Chhapkaiya of Birgunj Municipality-3 has also tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
