Tarun Dal launches ‘Let us be safe and save others’ campaign



KASKI: Nepal Tarun Dal Kask has urged one and all to adopt the principle ‘Let us remain safe ourselves and save others too’ by following government-enforced lockdown.

Releasing a memo on behalf of NTD, its Kaski chapter president Manoj Gurung asked all to fully implement the government-issued directive to be safe from coronavirus infection spreading across the world. The NTD also urged its leaders and cadres to play an active role to facilitate the daily life of Kaski folks abiding by law and order in this difficult hour of a pandemic.

Calling for the government to provide PPE to health workers, hospital staff and ambulance drivers, the NTD demanded the government to make coronavirus infection tests easy and smooth and determine separate hospitals for the treatment of patients suffering from other diseases.

It also asked the government to make appropriate management of people from Gandaki state, being stranded in different places due to lockdown, guarantee the distribution of relief materials to daily wagers.

It also drew attention towards quality standards and irregularities propping up in the procurement of medical appliances and kits and also demanded a fair investigation into the incident.
