Nepal slips three points in ICC T20 rankings

KATHMANDU: Nepal has slumped three positions to be ranked 15th in the latest ICC Twenty20 rankings.

According to the world ranking unveiled by ICC on Tuesday, Nepal slipped to 15th position after losing three points.

Earlier, Nepal was in the 12th position in the ICC Twenty20 rankings.

With Nepal relegated to 15th position, Scotland, Ireland and United Arab Emirates are in 12th, 13th and 14th positions, respectively.

Nepal could not achieve any good results in the Twenty20 cricket tournaments held recently.

Currently, Nepal is taking part in the ACC Eastern Region Twenty20 cricket tournaments underway in Thailand. Nepal faced defeats in the opening two matches.

Prior to this, Scotland, Ireland and UAE were trailing behind Nepal in the ICC rankings. Top five teams include Pakistan, Australia, England, India, and South Africa.
