Koirala emphasizes on party unity

BUTWAL: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Sujata Koirala today said that the party’s existence would be imperiled if internal row continued in the party.

Speaking at a program in Butwal on Friday, Koirala urged the NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba to play an effective role to ensure party unity.

She also accused President Deuba of weakening the party to merely fulfilling his desire to become the party president again.

Koirala said party, not a person or a post, is important. “NC will face defeat in the coming election if the party’s internal dispute is not resolved,” she said.
