KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two more Indian nationals with one kilogram of gold at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

The arrested are Nabin Gopichandra and Sureshlal Bharat.

They were arrested by a joint team of Airport Security Police and Metropolitan Crime Division. The duo had hidden the gold in their rectum.

According to police, they had arrived in Kathmandu from Doha, Qatar through a flight of Air Arabia.

On Tuesday, police had arrested an Indian national with half kilogram gold from the airport.

Similarly, on Thursday, two Indian nationals were nabbed with one kilogram gold.
