Septuagenarian succumbs to COVID-19 in Banke

NEPALGUNJ:  A 74-year-old man has died from COVID-19 in Nepalgunj of Banke district.

Septuagenarian of Kohalpur who was hospitalized on November 21 succumbed to the virus in the course of treatment at Bheri Hospital at 2 am today.

With this, the number of COVID-19 deaths in Banke district has reached 39.

Similarly, as many as 47 people infected with COVID-19 are undergoing treatment at two hospitals -Bheri Hospital and Medical College, Kohalpur.

According to District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center, Banke, 34 COVID-19 patients are undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital and 13 are receiving treatment at Kohalpur Medical College.

Likewise, a total of 134 COVID-19 patients are doing time in home isolation in the district.
