India’s COVID-19 cases surpass 9.5 million

NEW DELHI: India recorded 33,761 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 9,533,471.

Currently, 424,710 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 8,970,104 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 138,600 mark.

With 498 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 138,657, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.
